Latest on twitter:
I thought I’d introduce myself and tell you what this site’s about.
My name is Allen Tan and I’m an aspiring graphic and web designer, Mac fan, and architecture student studying at UC Berkeley.
I’ll also be your curator for Show, Don’t Tell. The idea of the site is to showcase infographics and other visual aids that present information with simplicity, clarity, honesty, and beauty. There’ll be some stuff from me, but most of the time there will be submissions focused around around that. Feel free to send in something that catches your eye.
This is not to say that I don’t like words. I love reading. If you do too, check out Instapaper, a project that I deeply admire.
I’m also involved with a few other projects, check them out:
My Portfolio and Personal Blog, where I write about games, technology, user interfaces, and architecture - and how they are all related.
A Tumblr that I hope to set up soon, about my last architectural studio class at UC Berkeley. Expect to see lots of blood, sweat, and tears of joy (but mostly blood).
And of course, I’m on Twitter. Send me feedback, or just say hello!
